A CIVIC reception is to be held by West Somerset District Council to honour the achievements of disabled athlete Debbie Criddle.
Debbie, who lives in Clatworthy, won three equestrian gold medals for Britain in the Paralympics Games staged in Athens after the Olympics.
The civic reception will take place at Halsway Manor near Crowcombe at 7 pm on Thursday, November 11.
The occasion will be hosted by the council's chairman, Councillor Angela Palmer, who will present Debbie with a commemorative gift from the authority.
