YOU may soon be able to get your skates on in Minehead.

Plans are being investigated to set up an ice rink in the resort's town centre in a project spearheaded by county councillor Colin Hill.

Funding will come from the windfall of cash given to each county councillor to spent in the community for the benefit of residents.

Cllr Hill has been holding discussions about how to spend the money and the majority of people quizzed said they wanted the money to be used for young people in the area.
