BUDDING writers in the Chard and Ilminster area are being offered an opportunity to get involved in producing some short plays.
Chard 2000 is giving people the chance to work alongside established writer Paul Hyland to create a dramatised audio guide to the Chard Lace Riots of 1842.
The project takes place in January.
