CELEBRITIES were out in force on Saturday as Bridgwater's Christmas lights sparked into life with the help of a star-studded cast.
Thousands of people braved the wet weather and stood around the Cornhill as the Cheeky Girls, Hollyoaks' Andy Newton-Lee, Lisa-Marie and BCRfm's Mark Painter and Dave Englefield entertained the crowds.
And the cheeky twins Gabriela and Monica Irimia were bowled over by the town's warm welcome, declaring "we can't wait to come back."
