REDRUTH showed their all-round supremacy to chalk up their fifth National League Division Three (South) victory at the Recreation Ground with a comprehensive 41-14 win against strugglers Haywards Heath.

The Reds, who ran in six tries, are now in fourth place.

This was a real solid team performance played in cold damp conditions on the Recreation Ground and watched by another good-sized partisan crowd.

Man of the match award went to Neil Corin for his play in the pack.

Behind the scrum, Nathan Pedley played a blinder to finish with a hat-trick of tries and taking his haul to nine for the season.

Rhys Gosling kicked 11 points from seven shots and linked well with action man Mark Richards. Kicker Gosling has scored 19 points in two outings and went down well with the crowd.

Two minutes into the match the Reds went ahead, Rhys Gosling kicking a penalty goal for off side.

By the 10th minute, following a drive with Sam Harrison to the fore, a try was set up for Julian Hosking which Gosling converted.

Minutes later the Reds scored a second try with Pedley the scorer after a left wing run. Gosling again added the extras.
