BURNHAM gave their best team performance of the season in this away match on Saturday to notch up their sixth successive victory.
They started with Elliott Lamb at the wing back and moved Kyle McErlain into central defence, where he excelled in the abscence of the not-available Andy Huddart. Joe Flurry started up front, with Tom Smith on the bench.
Burnham would have had the game won by half time but for poor finishing and bad final balls. They controlled the game, with Kevin Hurd not having one save to make. The defence was strong and well-organised and the midfield trio of Luke McErlain, Stuart Walford and Harry Kingston dominated.
Somerset County Premier Div: Stockwood Green 0, Burnham United 2.
