TRURO College students took part in a wide range of activities and events to fundraise for BBC's Children in Need. In a superb effort more than £1,500 was collected for the charity and at the same time lots of people had a great deal of fun - all for a great cause.

A large amount of students from different courses were involved including those from the BTEC National Diploma course in care, hairdressing and beauty therapy, CACHE Diploma in childcare and education and the Certificate in childcare and education.

Many students donned fancy dress and collected money around Truro College and Truro city centre.

Other activities on the big day also feature a packed out refectory hosing a spirited Karaoke event and some great vocals to raise even more money for the children's' charity.
