NEW offices for West Somerset District Council are likely to be built at Vulcan Road, Minehead, it has been revealed.
Deputy council leader Bryan Leaker told the Somerset County Gazette yesterday (Thursday): "It is likely a new civic centre will be built in the Vulcan Road area."
But he confirmed that the Aquasplash site, where a question mark hangs over the future of the council-owned swimming pool, was still an option.
Campaigners fighting development plans in the town have meanwhile called on council chiefs to reinstate coach parking at Vulcan Road.
