THE relaunch of Oxfam, on Taunton's Bridge, has been so successful the builders have been called in to expand it.
A new sales area is being built on the first floor, while work is underway improving the ground floor, which will incorporate a music department.
The shop, which is due to re-open the middle of next week, currently needs donations of good quality books, CDs, records, videos and DVDs.
Book volunteer Rita Palmer said: "We know the demand is there if we can attracted enough donations.
"Contemporary paperback fiction is an area where supply doesn't meet demand."
