WATCHET must sparkle if it is to prosper. That's the view of Dave Westcott, the new chairman of the town council, who has launched a push to spruce up the town.
Cllr Westcott, who took his place at the head of the town council on Monday evening, said: "I want the town to look really smart and shining by this time next year.
"If Watchet sparkles, the people will sparkle."
