TRAGIC young Taunton cancer sufferer Jamie Rendall is off to Legoland in Denmark next week, thanks to the generosity of local people.
Doctors have told the family of the five-year-old, as reported in last week's Somerset County Gazette, he has only weeks to live.
His grandmother, Pat Mayhew, said: "Jamie is going to Denmark next Friday. We had hoped to take him this week but the airline couldn't get him a fight back early enough for his treatment on Monday.
"Doctors have said he will be okay for the trip and that Jamie should remain fit enough to have a nice holiday -- he is really looking forward to it. After Denmark he will go in a hot air balloon and fly in a bi-plane.
