AN outdoor music concert at Somerset County Cricket Club's headquarters has been cancelled because of lack of interest.
Chief executive Peter Anderson decided to pull the plug on the Summer Concert at the County Ground, Taunton.
The move follows a disastrous event last year, which made a loss of £9,000.
Announcing the cancellation of this year's concert, planned for Saturday, August 6, Mr Anderson said: "There were a number of similar competing events elsewhere and we did not receive sufficient interest in what was planned".
