Falmouth Coastguard was advised by the tanker Bro Trader that she had broken down and was drifting south west of the Runnel Stone. Anglian Princess and the Sennen Cove lifeboat were tasked to the incident and the lifeboat stood by whilst repairs were carried out. Anglian Princess arrived as the vessel got under way, and escorted her though the TSS.
* A Royal Navy helicopter was asked by the ambulance service to airlift a woman who sustained a fractured ankle at Wicca Cliffs to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, in Truro, for treatment.
* A Culdrose helicopter also recovered a sick elderly female from a position just west of Lizard Point, after the land ambulance carrying her became stuck off road. Lizard Coastguard assisted on scene. The woman who had collapsed due to low blood pressure was flown direct to the Royal Cornwall Hospital for treatment.
* The dive boat Indecision towed the Aquaholic into Porthkerris after the vessel reported engine failure with divers in the water off Nare Head. Porthoustock coastguards attended to offer safety advice and collect details.
