A PROPOSED mobile phone mast that would be situated near a Falmouth primary school has once again been objected to by councillors.
Members of Falmouth town council's planning committee have again recommended refusal for a resubmitted proposal by O2 (UK) Ltd.
The company is seeking permission to erect a 12.5m mast on Western Terrace, close to King Charles Primary School and a few metres away from the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
The application for planning approval has been resubmitted after an initial proposal was rejected by Carrick district council last November, on grounds of visual impact on the area and it being situated in a conservation area.
