A MEMBER of staff at a Praa Sands pub was left traumatised this week after being tied up by masked intruders who raided the pub in the early hours of Monday morning.

The male cleaner, who is in his early fifties, had just started work at the beachside Welloe Rock Inn when the two intruders, both wearing balaclavas and armed with a baseball bat and crowbar, entered the pub.

They tied up the cleaner using cable ties, before raiding the gaming machines and pool table. After causing significant damage to the premises, they made off with around £400 in cash and a quantity of cigars.
