THE Cornwall Sports Partnership deliver a multitude of activities throughout the year ranging from coach education courses to county player development centres and primary coaching festivals.
In the past four years coach education courses have helped over 1000 people become fully qualified sports coach and have co-ordinated the delivery of a nationally recognised leadership programme across the county.
Every year the 9 sports development officers co-ordinate activity within schools and clubs that eventually leads to a team of competitors being selected to represent each of the 7 districts at the annual Cornwall youth Games. This is a highly successful event that grows each year and the 2004 Youth Games saw over 1000 children from all over the county competing in 14 events.
