The Edukators is showing at the Falmouth Arts Centre cinema on Friday and Saturday evenings.

In this 15-rated film, three friends are united by revolutionary fervour and a commitment to change the world but their crusade does not involve smashing the state, rather, the self-styled Edukators break into rich peoples' homes and warn their owners of the evils of materialism by writing on the walls and rearranging the furniture. Theirs is a surrealist, peaceful revolution, until they are disturbed and reluctantly have to take a hostage. On Monday and Tuesday of next week the intriguing French movie 5x2 (15, subtitled) hits the silver screen.

French wild child Franois Ozon comes of age with a very grown up film that, as the title suggests, gives five glimpses into the lives of two people, Marion and Gilles. We see the couple's story backwards, firstly sitting down for divorce proceedings, through to the moment they meet. The Steele and Spring Galleries continue to host the colourful and uplifting exhibition A Lotus in Bloom - Art by Buddhists in the West.

This show contains a variety of work from the nationwide Buddhist Art Festival.
