The Pendennis Motorcycle and Light Car Club, who are currently celebrating their 75th anniversary year, are now making final arrangments for their birthday celebration at the Membly Hall Hotel, Falmouth over the weekend of August 13/14, to mark the club's formation at the Royal Hotel, Market Street, Falmouth, on August 14, 1930.

On the Saturday evening of the 13th, Pendennis members and friends, past and present spanning 75 years will be attending this milestone in the club's history, along with the only surviving founder member Selborne "Rancher" Stevens, who with some of his friends, met in a lockup garage in Hawkins Way, Falmouth, to form what was to become the most senior motor club in the county today.

The Mayor of Falmouth, Roger Bonney will be in attendance, representing Falmouth town council and also special guest Allan Robinson, MBE, former TT Riders' Association secretary, will travel from Surrey to act as MC for the evening. Hundreds of photographs will be on display from the Pendennis Castle Road Races era right through to the present day covering all the club's sporting and social events, and should prove to be a very nostalgic evening.
