A NEW incident response vehicle, worth £500,000, has been delivered to Wellington Fire Brigade.
The truck is designed to minimise the effects of a chemical accident or terrorist attack and has been paid for by the Government.
The 26-tonne vehicle contains sophisticated showering systems, which can decontaminate 300 people an hour.
Every county in the country has been given at least one vehicle and Wellington's unit will act as a back-up for units for Exeter and Bristol.
