I AGREE with D. Westlake (Postbag) about drivers being unaware of the Highway Code. Judging by today's driving standards we need to go a step further and force people to re-take their test every two years.
If drivers can't behave in a responsible, courteous manner, following the rules of the road, extreme action is needed.
No wonder there are so many accidents on the road when most drivers haven't a clue how to drive or what's going on around them.
