Aquasplash: closed until Easter
AQUASPLASH, Minehead's public swimming pool, got a temporary reprieve last night (Wednesday) after being threatened with closure.
But it is expected to stay shut until Easter while repairs are completed.
Members of West Somerset District Council voted to keep the swimming pool, gym and spa at Aquasplash open all year, albeit with a reduction in opening hours.
The Aquasplash management team is to explore ways of keeping the facility open during other Bank Holidays.
