While most of the UK’s politicians were bunkered down in London dealing with the fall out from the latest expenses scandal, Helston’s MP Andrew George was enjoying playing his part in Flora Day.
Mr George, dressed from top to toe as St Piran for the Hal an Tow dance, decided that tradition was more important and turned up early in the morning to join in the popular celebrations.
A Flora Day special containing 18 pages of pictures from today's event will be publshed tomorrow Saturday.
