YESTERDAY we looked back at the day the Safeway supermarket in Taunton was destroyed in an arson attack.
Another store suffered a similar fate in July 2013, when the Waitrose store in High Street, Wellington, was deliberately set alight early one Sunday morning.
Half the roof at the entrance of the building collapsed but the main building remained intact with only smoke damage.
The fire had started on the outside of the building and quickly spread to the roof.
But firefighters were quickly on the scene and prevented the fire spreading further
Fortunately no-one was injured in the blaze.
A 24-year-old man was jailed for four years for the arson attack.
