A GARDEN in Taunton has now decided to close to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
Hestercombe Gardens made the decision to close today (January 12), to protect staff and visitors.
A spokesperson for Hestercombe Gardens said: "Following the latest Government announcement regarding the heightened emergency level and increased transmissibility of the Covid-19 virus, Hestercombe Gardens has taken the decision to close its gardens and Visitor Centre in order to protect both staff and visitors.
"This means that you will be temporarily unable to make visits to Hestercombe.
"We are extremely grateful for the continuing support, patience and understanding of our members, visitors and supporters."
The closure will be reviewed on Monday, January 25 2021.
