AS a resident of Taunton, in my seventies, I have kept active by walking.
I used the cycle the pedestrian pathway between Calway and Mount Street to access the area around the park, during the pandemic.
During the months since the start of the pandemic, nothing has been done either by some home owners or the council, to keep the path to its original width of roughly two metres.

As this is a very well-used facility, it seems reasonable to keep it maintained.
Twice our local councillor has brought the matter up, to no avail. Other, less needy, areas have had attention!
This path needs more than a once-a-year tidy, or at least a hard clear back to its original width.
I am sure I am not the only person who feels like this.
