Fire crews in Cornwall have also spent the night battling a blaze at a former school in St Austell.

Six engines were initially sent just after 2.20am, but by 5am this was increaseed to eight major fire appliances at the former Carclaze Infant School.

A fire spokesperson said: "Officers at the incident are asking that members of the public in the Carclaze area keep their doors and windows closed due to the on going incident."
