Four young children were found travelling in a van with only two seats and no seatbelts according to police, who have described the incident as "absolutely shocking."
All the children were under the age of eight and were seated immediately in front of loose scrap metal.
Officers were involved in a joint operation with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency yesterday, in Redruth.

As a result, a driver will find themselves in court and the vehicle has been seized.
Writing about the operation on Twitter, the Alliance Roads Policing team said: "Four young children under eight transported in the back of this van.
"No seatbelts. Only two seats. Loose scrap metal behind them.
"Vehicle in dangerous condition. Absolutely shocking."
In one of the pictures shared by the team a seatbelt can be seen broken off by the material, while the whole vehicle is covered in rust and dirt.
