A new hotel and community centre, improved water sports facilities, cinema and affordable homes are among proposals submitted to Cornwall’s planners to complete the transformation of Hayle Harbour.

Corinthian Homes, which is leading the North Quay development in Hayle, has unveiled its vision for the next phase of regeneration that is says will "deliver a raft of community benefits" as well as establish the scheme as a "nationally significant new residential, visitor, business and investment destination."

A masterplan is already in place for the redevelopment of Hayle Harbour and work started earlier this year on phase one, which will feature 140 homes, new shops, restaurants and open spaces.
