ONE of the pupils at Catcott Primary School near Bridgwater has been busy fundraising for the Love Musgrove appeal during lockdown.
Lily Farmer, who is a pupil in Year 3 at Catcott, decided she wanted to raise money for Musgrove Park Hospital by making bespoke rainbow door plaques.
Lily, who is just eight years old, made the plaques using local stone salvaged from her back garden, making rainbows as they have become a symbol of hope and happiness during the ongoing pandemic.
Due to the movement restrictions she offered to deliver these plaques to those living in the Polden villages.
In return, Lily asked for donations to help support Musgrove Park Hospital and has managed to raise the amazing amount of £1,170.
Catcott re-opened to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 and now has nearly 60 pupils attending.
