A BUILDING at a saw mill was damaged after an 'accidental' fire near Frome.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 12.46pm today (June 5) to Valley Sawmills, Holywell Hill, Nunney.
Crews from Frome and Shepton Mallet attended this incident along with supporting officers.
On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in a single storey building measuring 20m x 30m used as a saw mill and a fire involving an extraction unit and an extraction building measuring 5m x 5m of steel and timber construction.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, said: "One building of timber and steel construction measuring 30m x 20m slightly damaged by fire and external extraction unit measuring 10m x 5m 100 per cent destroyed by fire.
"Extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one main jet and thermal imaging camera.
"The cause of the fire was accidental."
