Praise has been heaped on Ellesmere Yarn Bombers for their creations for patients throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
The group has produced pairs of knitted/crocheted hearts for Gobowen's Orthopaedic Hospital, among others, for when seriously-ill patients kept apart from their loved ones.
Alison Utting, from the group, said: "This has been especially significant for end-of-life patients. Many relatives responded to say how comforting they found it to have something to hold that gives them a link to the one they have lost.
"Fantastically well done to all who have knitted, crocheted, and sorted deliveries.
"We may not be able to do a yarn-bomb this summer, but we have done something really special."
