STUDENTS and staff at Queen’s College, Taunton, whose art challenge made national news earlier in lockdown have embarked on a new initiative.
Art teacher Laura Burgoyne launched The Colour Project, which is inspired by South Korean artist JeongMee Yoon's fascination with colour and its association with gender and age.
The Queen’s community are gathering together as many objects as they can and surrounding themselves in a sea of their favourite colour.
When Miss Burgoyne launched the art challenge in April, there were more than 50 recreations of famous paintings and artwork.
They appeared on the County Gazette website and in the paper, after which the BBC picked up on the story and used a selection on their national news site.
