A van driver found themselves in a sticky situation yesterday after police stopped them - for taping up their window with gaffer tape.
In photos posted by the Alliance Roads Policing team, the windscreen of the van can be clearly seen with a large smash and hole on the driver's side.

This has been 'repaired' with a large square of black tape.
It was stopped on the road when police spotted it driving in Redruth.

A member of the team said: "Van stopped in Redruth this afternoon for obvious reasons.
"Gaffer tape although useful for many things should not be used for windscreen repair.
"Driver reported."
