Police have made an arrest in connection with the death of a man in Falmouth yesterday.
Officers were called to a residential address on Tresawle Road shortly after midnight on Tuesday 5.
A police spokesperson said that upon arrival, a 25-year-old man was found to have sustained serious injuries and, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
He has since been named locally as Aaron Pill and a candlelit vigil is due to be held this evening in his memory, at 8pm.

Police have this evening confirmed that a 24-year-old man from Falmouth has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody.
