ONE more person has died after testing positive for coronavirus in Somerset.
Overall there have been 49 deaths recorded from coronavirus in Somerset's hospitals since the start of the outbreak.
The death recorded was in Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
In the figures released by Public Health England today, Sunday, April 26, there were a total of 336 new deaths in England's hospitals recorded up to 5pm on Saturday, April 25 - this is down compared from the previous day's figures which recorded 711 new deaths.
In Scotland there were a total of 18 deaths from Covid-19 and in Wales there were a total of 14 deaths today.
Figures for Northern Ireland have not yet been released.
The total hospital deaths in the county are made up of 27 at Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust; six at Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust; three at Weston-super-Mare; and 13 in Yeovil.
