Somerset coronavirus cases maintain upward trend
THE number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Somerset has risen to 168 in the past 24 hours.
That represents a rise of 16 from yesterday's figures for the county council area.
Overall in the UK there are 70,272 confirmed cases.
England has 58,817 cases, Scotland 5,275, Wales 4,591, and Northern Ireland 1,589.
There have been 8,958 hospital deaths from the virus across the UK. Somerset has recorded 24 hospital deaths.
