THREE more people have died after testing positive for coronavirus in Somerset, taking the total up to 24.
Figures released by Public Health England today (Friday, April 10), show one person died on April 7 within the Taunton and Somerset NHS Trust, which manages Musgrove Park Hospital.
Two deaths were in the Yeovil District Hospital NHS Trust.
They were recorded on April 6 and 7.
NHS England announced that in total there had been 866 new deaths of people who had tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths at hospitals in England up to 8,114.
As of April 9, there were 152 recorded cases of coronavirus in Somerset, with that figure likely to be updated later today.
