Jamie John Rice, 30, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to 14 offences committed in under two months when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court.
Rice will be sentenced at a later date and was remanded in custody at Exeter Prison until his next court appearance on Wednesday, April 15.
He admitted two counts of assaulting a police officer in the exercise of their functions; damaging an interview room in a police station; four counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, two of which were racially aggravated; three counts of criminal damage; three counts of theft; and possession of a Class C drug.
He denied five further charges which were either dismissed or discontinued.
The offences took place in Taunton, Bishop's Hull and Bridgwater this year between January 11 and March 1.
