CHILDREN'S play areas across Taunton Deane and West Somerset have been closed by the council due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Somerset West and Taunton Council announced the closures this morning (Thursday) on social media.
A tweet said: "Our play areas are temporarily closed in line with Government guidance.
"Our parks and open spaces remain open.
"Please ensure you respect everyone's space and adhere to the 2m social distancing advice."
Gates into play areas have been barred along with tape advising people they should not enter.
