THIS car was perched precariously on the side of the road overhanging a steep bank following a crash.
A man was trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters from Dulverton and Taunton attended the incident near Coppleham Cross, Dulverton, on Tuesday.
Crews secured the vehicle using winches and strops to prevent it going over the bank.
A spokesman for Dulverton Fire Station said: "Then we got to work to remove the doors and extricate the casualty who was left in the hands of paramedics to be checked over.
"Crews awaited the arrival of the recovery vehicle whilst having the car secured to prevent it falling down the bank.
"We then returned to our home station ready to answer the next call.
"During these difficult times we are here for you whenever you need us. Stay safe."
