TAUNTON town centre has been turned into a ghost town by the coronavirus shutdown.
With most of the shops and business premises closed, there are few people to be seen on the streets of the county town.
Members of the public have been praised for sticking to the guidelines to stay home.
Police took to social media to say: "Glad to see the guidance being followed by the majority of the public of Taunton.
"PCSOs Amy and Katie following the guidance also and patrolling two metres apart from each other."
There was one instance of a breach of the social distancing guidance - a duck snapped waddling down High Street.
Glad to see the guidance being followed by the majority of the public of Taunton.
