CASH points at Tesco in Taunton have been taped off after an attempt to steal money.
Police were called to the supermarket giant on Castle Street at around 3am this morning (March 18).
It is not yet known if any money was taken.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at just before 3am today (Wednesday March 18) after damage was caused to cash machines outside Tesco in Castle Street, Taunton. The damage happened at just after 2am.
“We believe two offenders used a metal object to damage the machines. It’s not yet known whether any cash was taken.
“We’re making further enquiries and the scene has been cordoned off at this time.
