A motorcyclist has received serious head injuries in a collision in Carbis Bay.
Police say the 30-year-old injured man is local to the area of the crash, which took place in Beach Road at around 1.10am this morning.
Police and the ambulance service were called, later being joined by officers from the police operations department and a specialist officer from the Roads Policing Team.
They closed the road and launched a full examination into what happened.
Now an appeal has been launched for any witnesses who might have information about the collision or who have dash cam footage of it to come forward.
