A DERELICT building in Taunton was set on fire in a suspected arson attack last night (Thursday, February 20).
Taunton firefighters attended the incident on Canal Road at 7.18pm following reports of smoke issuing from the derelict building.
The incident commander worked to gain access to investigate the fire, and once inside confirmed there were two fires within the building.
The crews managed to promptly put out the fires using buckets of water.
The fire service called in the police as it is believed the fires were started deliberately.
