RECENT cases dealt with by Taunton Magistrates' Courts include:
James Charles Goodman, 26, of Park View, Cotford St Luke, assaulted by beating a police officer in the exercise of his functions, one year conditional discharge, £100 compensation, £50 costs. (G).
Nikki Alexander Ashby, 30, of East Reach, Taunton, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour, £40 fine, £32 victim surcharge, £50 costs; drunk and disorderly, £40 fine; failed to surrender to bail, detained in the courthouse. (G). Assault by beating, one year conditional discharge, £100 compensation.
Daniel Roden, 27, of Monmouth Road, Taunton, breached a community order, £40 fine, £60 costs. (G).
