A 17-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested in connection with a 'violent mugging' in Shipley town centre this morning.
Emergency services were called to HSBC, Wells Croft, to reports of a woman who was bleeding from head injuries on the floor at 10.52am.
It is believed the man rushed up behind her before she fell to the ground.

A local business owner, who says a cordon is currently in place, told the Telegraph & Argus: "There's been a violent mugging. Police are there now. A woman's fallen and hit her head. She was bleeding in the head."
The teenager, currently in custody, was arrested a short time later.

The victim has since been taken to hospital for treatment to her head injuries.
West Yorkshire Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to call 101, quoting log number 507.
