POLICE and ambulance crews were called after a man was hit by a car in Taunton early this morning.
The incident happened at around 6.45am in Upper High Street, the A38, near Shire Hall and The Crescent.
"Our crews treated a male patient at the scene and transported him to hospital by land ambulance for further care," said a spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service.
The road was partially blocked for more than 30 minutes.
