A MAN searching for the toilet has caused around £200-worth of damage after urinating in the restaurant of Salisbury's oldest pub.
Wiltshire Police says that the unknown male had, at just past midnight on November 1, gone upstairs in the Haunch of Venison looking for the toilet, before then proceeding to urinate around the restaurant area, mainly on a chair, a cushion, the floor and a window.
It is understood the restaurant area was empty at the time.
The total amount of damaged caused, which includes the price of cleaning and replacing the chair, is estimated to be around £200.
Police officers are appealing for witnesses.
