A TEEN had his phone stolen by a pair of thieves after he was punched and kicked to the floor in Salisbury.

At around 7.45pm on October 19, the 18-year-old was in the wooded area to the rear of Bourne Hill when he was approached from behind by the pair and pushed to the ground.

He was then punched and kicked several times by the two attackers, and his mobile phone was then stolen.

Wiltshire Police says that he only suffered "minor injuries".

A spokesperson added that one of the suspects is believed to have been white, approximately 6ft tall, aged in his early 20s and dressed in all black clothing.

The second suspect is described as in his late teens.

PC Dave Jones said: “We have been conducting detailed enquiries in relation to this incident and as part of our investigation we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have seen any suspicious individuals, potentially running from the scene.”
