RECENT cases dealt with by Taunton Magistrates' Courts include:
Martin Edward Cooke, 45, of no fixed address, sexually touched a woman when she did not consent, community order, 50 hours unpaid work, £200 compensation, ordered to register with the police. (G).
Peter John Watts, 69, of no fixed address, two counts of assault by beating, detained in the courthouse, £100 compensation. (G).
Andrew Mark Brunton, 51, of Utopia Windmill, Stoke St Gregory, attempted to communicate with a girl under 16 for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, community order, 40 hours unpaid work, £85 victim surcharge, £85 costs. (G).
